ADOPTION PROCESS

 

Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application.  Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check.  2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).

Bella, is a gorgeous 2 year old female mix breed with some bull terrier in her. Her family rescued Bella at the age of 7 weeks from the County pound, where she was spayed. Bella, is a very sweet and lovable puppy. She is very playful and does well with children.  She is not food aggressive. There are two older female dogs in the house that the family has had for 7 years. Recently, as Bella has come of age, the dogs have not gotten along well, and there have been fights between them.  The family has made the painful decision to rehome Bella for everyone's sake. 

 

Facts about Bella:


  • Crate trained

  • House trained

  • Walks well on a leash

  • Rides in the car, but get a little nervous

  • Has never been destructive in the house

  • Weight is approx 45-50 lbs

  • Current on all shots

  • No medical issues

  • Knows basic commands: sit, stay, lie down, outside

  • Never been around cats

  • She warms up quickly to strangers

  • Great with kids
